When I was in my teens I spent many hours in the driveway helping my dad maintain and repair the family cars. From changing brakes to replacing cracked manifolds, we did everything on our cars. As my dad has gotten older he can no longer do this. The simple act of changing the oil or replacing a wiper blade can be overwhelming. This past Friday he called regarding a noise coming from his car. I knew he couldn't fix it, but I knew who to call. I reached out to Alex first thing Monday morning and without hesitation he fit my dad into the schedule. Upon inspection, they found that the clips that held up various wheel well panels and splash guards had failed and these plastic panels were banging around while the car was on the road. Simple fix, but they took a look at other systems on the car as well. What they also found was that the drive belt and pulley were also failing. Alex explained to my dad that although the car was drivable, he was concerned the belt, the pulley or both would fail without warning, stranding my dad and possibly leading to an accident. My dad was without his car another day, but the belt and pulley were replaced and my dad says the car has never driven better. Some other comments my dad made include "Professional, Courteous, Didn't Try to Push Me Into Anything, Explained Everything, and Clean." In fact, my dad said their restroom was the cleanest public facility he has ever been in. Many thanks to Alex and the entire crew at First Class Auto Works for taking care of my dad. I really appreciate all you did for him.
